The mission of the Grind For Life organization is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when traveling long distances to doctors and hospitals. In addition, we educate and inspire these patients and families concerning cancer survival and recovery.
Two aircraft ; One aircraft is the famous C-47 "Tico Belle" that was in Normandy Invasion. First jumpers will land at 11:00am dressed in Santa outfits. Then aircraft will return for the second load of jumpers and continue process until 3:00pm.
Jumpers are professional will all be dressed in Santa Suits, and will demonstrate various disciplines like Flying Canopies together, high speed landings swerving around inflatible christmas trees scattered in the landing area, some jumpers will carry flags and smoke, several jumpers will attempt to land on a Giant Inflatible Santa Chair.
For the past seven years, before Santa delivers toys and gifts, he’s been breaking away to catch some waves in Cocoa Beach on Christmas Eve morning. Pretty cool, right?
The Surfing Santas event is an annual Cocoa Beach tradition that brings hundreds of surfers dressed up as Santa. Watch them ride in on the waves and kick off your holiday weekend beachside at this FREE event.
New this year, the crowd can participate in a costume contest. Dress up in your favorite winter themed outfit – snowman, Santa and Mrs. Claus, gingerbread man, reindeer, elves – for your chance to win prizes.
The money raised supports Grind for Life, a local cancer support group, and the Florida Surf Museum.
